C-295 C-212 CN-235 Large aircraft Product support

Product support

The worldwide presence of Airbus Military's Product Support Division backs the nearly 800 transport aircraft in operation with 124 operators in some 57 countries. A staff of more than 250 are permanently dedicated to the Airbus Military Product Support organization.

Airbus Military offers Full In-Service Support (FISS) with guaranteed aircraft availability rates and hourly operating costs, as well as a training centre with full flight simulators and computer-based trainers for the CN-235 and C-295.

Recognising that many operators do not keep large spare inventories, Airbus Military has a long-standing policy of stocking an extensive inventory of parts for immediate delivery to provide efficient materiel support. This includes vendor parts and hardware, along with component repair services.

Airbus Military has extensive experience providing qualification and recurrent training for military aircrews. Most personnel have previous military aviation operations and training experience. Airbus Military and CAE training experience includes 8,512 pilots, 1,028 maintenance technicians, and 524 loadmasters trained in past five years. Use of the full flight simulator is important for efficiency and effectiveness in training and Airbus Military has conducted over 16,000 hours in the last ten years.

Top-level support for the growing number of Airbus Military aircraft customers in North America – including the U.S. Coast Guard – is provided through a 13,000 sq. ft. customer service and training facility at Alabama's Mobile Regional Airport. Opened in 2005, this facility is now in full operation, providing spares and technical support, and hosting systems training classes.
