Overview
The reference in SAR, maritime patrol, and multi-mission aircraft
Around the clock and throughout the world, Airbus Military aircraft provide reliable, effective service in search and rescue, maritime patrol, transportation, special mission and aerial refuelling applications.
Airbus Military’s C-212, CN-235 and C-295 have earned their reputation as rugged, capable and dependable tactical transports, becoming the airlifters of choice for a growing number of military and government operators. The larger A400M heavy-lift transport and A330 Multi-role Tanker/Transport are being readied for their entry into service, becoming the new benchmarks in multi-mission platforms.
Airbus Military’s expertise includes the integration of complex mission systems, providing turnkey capabilities for customers with the most demanding requirements. The company’s Fully Integrated Tactical System (FITS) offers a flexible mission package that can be installed on any aircraft platform, integrating state-of-the-art sensors and data processing. FITS has been chosen for Mexican Navy C-212s, the Spanish Maritime Safety Agency’s (Sasemar) CN-235, the the Irish Air Corps’ CN-235, Portuguese Air Force C-295s and upgraded Spanish Navy P-3 Orions. The U.S. Coast Guard’s new CN-235-based HC-144A maritime patrol aircraft benefits from FITS technology in the integration of its sensors and systems.
